The Sustainable Development Goals (ODS) of the United Nations are part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development ("Transforming Our World"), which contains 17 objectives and 169 goals and serves as a plan of action for the international community and national governments to promote the prosperity and common welfare on the next 15 years.

The ODS involve governments, NGOs, citizens, and also require the social responsibility of companies. So responsibility is a key word that has to be properly understood.
